Following on from my articulate way of introducing myself, I think a simpler means might also be necessary to get the message across. Not everybody is as comfortable with rap lyrics as I am.
So who am I? Well, I’m
The Pirate KingDesperado but who am I really?
I’m just your super mega awesome average guy who likes to stalk the internet seek new information. You could call me an “infophile”, if that was an actual word.
(I actually checked online to see if there was such a word. I think I have got a serious problem; an addiction to Google and the Internet.)
I’m a huge anime and manga fan so that puts me in a special category of geek known as ‘Otaku’. I know a lot of fan-girls and boys use this title but I don’t really care. I am what I am.
I also like watching U.S. based television serials believe it or not. This only developed recently after my lazy-ass good-for-nothing very good friend; Detective Loki introduced me to Supernatural. Since then I’ve been taking on many other shows after recommendations and so far most have failed to disappoint me.
I like Video-Games, Football, Movies and Music… You know the usual stuff. I have my own personal taste to all of these that you’ll get to know through interacting with my blog. (Which I hope you will all do…)
So what made me start blogging? To be honest, I don’t really know. It wasn’t even planned believe it or not. Now I had previously thought about blogging but not from an entertainment point of view.
I actually didn’t have a reason to blog. It happened one day all of a sudden. I was just bored and saw it as an opportunity to battle my boredom. From there I just started reading up all I could about blogging.
I came across WordPress and realised this was exactly what I wanted to use to create my blog. I’d heard of Tumblr before but I knew it wasn’t really my kind of thing (although I am using Tumblr just as another means to promote my writing).
It took a while getting used to WordPress but a half a dozen YouTube tutorials later (Thank God for YouTube ) I was able to get my site up and running within a night. Let’s face it; most good work gets done at 3am in the morning night… when we’re drawing on the power from the moon more relaxed. I think it’s the quiet that helps. I can hear my sister’s shouting or singing as I’m sitting here writing this, so definitely finding it difficult but I got something else planned for the evening and night, so yeah… this is going to suck might not be my greatest piece of work.
As soon as I saw what other people were doing and the blogs that were out there, it was like a whole new world had opened up to me and I thought to myself, “why hadn’t I come across this before?”
It was a point to think about. Having spent most of my years growing up on the net, being a part of one of the first generation to do so, how had I not fallen into the world of blogging? It compliments my style of writing very well I believe and I can totally do this. Considering how much I love to write and seek new information, this is actually pretty perfect for a guy like me.
I can express myself whilst at the same time; I’ve got a project to run. Couldn’t get much better… Okay, it can get better. A bit obvious… There’s always ways that something could be better. There’s always room for improvement but I’m satisfied with what I’ve got. I think I might have contradicted myself by saying this was perfect before and now claiming there was room for improvement. I think it’s better if I dropped this right here and moved. I’m sure you’ve got the idea by now. Moving on…
So what can you expect from me? Expect the unexpected… No seriously. I can’t tell you exactly what to expect from my blog.
I don’t really have a definite laid out plan to what I’m going to do or what I’m going to explore. I have some idea’s which I’ve sort of started and mentioned but the possibilities are endless because being an ‘infophile’ my passion for new things is always on the rise. Baring that in mind, anything is possible…
Personally, I will stalk interact with you if you want to talk about anything I write about. Everything I write about is my obsession passion and writing itself is my passion so you can be sure to get a response from me. Even a conversation, if you can carry one from your end. So yeah, don’t leave me hanging mid-conversation, I’ll hunt you down I look forward to conversing with all those that interact with my blog.
Happy Blogging and hopefully I’ll speak to some of you very soon.
Peace Out!

Thanks for leaving a comment. I love interacting with other Anime/Manga fans. I’m following yours now so I’ll definitely keep in touch with your reviews and blogging.
Two years is an awesome accomplishment. I plan to carry this on for a long time so I do hope I can reach the two year mark and even surpass it.
I love writing and I think I can keep doing it on a regular basis with this blog.

I know “nada” about anime. There is this guy by the name of Swoozie on YouTube, and he has some funny things to say, he make references to anime. You should look him up. As for my reasons, I was bored, like writing things so I can look back on them, and I hope my niece, or younger family members find something important or valuable…but do kids even read these days???? Smh 🙂

I’ll check this Swoozie guy our on your recommendation. It’s okay not to know about Anime… Knowing about it is cool in the geeky way but you can get away without it as well, I guess. Although you are missing out.
Being bored and writing is always a reason to blog. I mean its an awesome way to pass time. And it definitely creates memories. Like a journal of sorts. I hope my kids can look back at my musings and learn stuff about me that I may not be able to share with them.
Kids these days don’t read as much I don’t think… They don’t know as much as I did… I mean my sisters are in high school and they don’t even know who Tiger Woods or Roger Federer are. I was like… You guys serious? I called them stupid and they got annoyed and told me that their friends don’t know either and then I called their friends stupid as well but that’s another story…
Here’s hoping the future generations don’t get any worse. I like to think I’m an optimist. 🙂

Haha! Thanks… It was something I saw being used by a couple of people so I went all out on this post. I hadn’t decided how often I would use it but with your encouraging words, I might now use it more often. Thank you for the support! (*^_^*)
