Holy _____, Batman!
This was quite unexpected.
I had no idea this was in the works but its official, the BAT is back!
Originally when the prequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Origins was announced, fans speculated wether Rocksteady had abandoned the Caped Crusader and passed its Lineage on to WB Games Montreal.
We now have the answer! Rocksteady were secretly working on the Next Game in the Series, Batman: Arkham Knight.

This has to be the Best trailer for Batman I’ve ever seen Period!
This game will be a direct sequel to Arkham City. It will be set in a much Darker, Grittier Gotham City, Larger in Every way. This feature won’t just highlight the Next Generation Console capabilities but to incorporate One of the Many Exciting New Features.
A drivable Batmobile!

The new environment hopes to fulfil the passion of many Geeks by seamlessly allowing the addition of a New Driving Mode amongst the popular game mechanics in its previous Titles.
It’s easy to guess that the New Suit, Batmobile and Feel has had a fair amount of inspiration from the Nolan Batman Trilogy. Just Beautiful!
To some extent Batman in the trailer seemingly looks and inherently feels like its being portrayed by Christian Bale. If I wasn’t aware that this was a game I’d easily be fooled in thinking this was a New Christopher Nolan Batman Movie.
Gotham City’s Finest Criminal’s also make a welcomed reappearance…
Harley Quinn!
Two-Face!
Penguin!
and hopefully many more…
Rocksteady is following the Success of the Christopher Nolan’s Trilogy with Arkham Knight, making this their Grand Finale.
A Sad Day for Gotham Indeed
<
p style=”text-align:center;”>So lets all add this to our wish lists and have One Last Night as the BATMAN!
No official release date, but it will be sometime this year, very likely before the Holiday Season in October or November. It will be available on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
Stay Awesome Gotham!
This is all very exciting. 🙂

I think it was known that Rocksteady was working on another Batman game, but I am surprised it is coming out so soon. Fingers crossed that it will be less buggy than Origin.
