We had a rocky launch but who doesn’t worry at that moment, in that moment anything could happen.

Not long left now.

The journey across went fine, no major problems. You may think the absence of gravity is the hardest thing to get used to but it is the silence that is the hardest thing to adjust to. You hear your heart beating in your chest through the movement of your blood.

There are moments left now.

You may think that you feel claustrophobic in this cramped space but the realisation of what you have embarked upon takes away all those irrational fears and leaves them on land. When you look behind you and see the world and wonder how it is so small yet so big and it puts in perspective all your worries and cares of that life. And when you look ahead of you and see the rest of creation, the Universe. Unadultered with pollution, seeing from a place where no other has seen from and where future generations will crave to be.

Any second now..

Everything becomes clear, such a moment of clarity that people spend their whole lives searching for and are unable to find.

The door opens. I walk down a few steps and step foot on untouched land for the first time.
