Gangsta

Gangsta

I saw a clip of this show randomly on an anime group on facebook and I thought it was pretty interesting. I was looking for a lowkey and dark anime and it seemed I had found one.

One thing I hadn’t planned on was one of the main characters being deaf, not that I have a problem with that or anything, but it was unexpected and peaked my interest in the show. As I started the show I was instantly rewarded with what I had hoped to see in this anime which was action, blood, adult themed content and general badassery.

The theme song was awesome, I still can’t get it out of my head. Worick and Nic are an interesting and badass duo and do a great job of giving the show some depth. Their role in this world is unclearly stated and becomes even more blurred as the show goes along. The pacing of the story could’ve been better as sometimes it seems to dwell in areas.

The story becomes more interesting and intriguing as more characters are introduced so when the 12 episodes have run its course you are left wanting more. Overall it was a fun and twisted ride that left me wanting more.
