Call me, maybe

Describe your relationship with your phone. Is it your lifeline,

a buzzing nuisance, or something in between?

For some a phone is just a necessity. For others it’s a way to keep in touch with people. Some may even claim it is a nuisance at certain points in life although I don’t see how that can be so if you have no friends.

For me, personally… My phone is one of the most important things in the world. Like my laptop is just as important but without my phone, I would feel vulnerable and naked. When I leave my phone in my room and I go down to get a drink, it’s like scary. I feel alone.

Like some may even say my phone is like my closest companion. I do change my phone from time to time but I don’t get attached to the phone in the sense that I wouldn’t want a new one so you could say there is no love involved; there is just a need.

I think the best way to describe it would be a contract because that’s exactly how it works. I use the phone for two years whilst paying for the tariff and then I move on to the next model once the two years are up considering the deal is no longer as good as a new deal that becomes available. There are no hard feelings involved and I quickly get over the previous phone once I move on.

So all in all it is a very important part of my life considering I am always seeking out new information and my phone ensures that I do not become bored.
