The CAPTAIN
Hi, my name is Shaki but I’m better known by my alias Desperado often with the number 316 added on. Just because most sites already have 315 other Desperado’s.
Okay, I’m lying… There’s not that many Desperado’s out there. I was actually huge WWF/WWE Geek whilst growing up and my whole life revolved around wrestling. Those who ever followed the Attitude Era in WWE will know exactly where the 3:16 comes from. For those who don’t know, it’s the number most commonly associated with Stone Cold Steve Austin. (I’m sure a lot of you know who he is. He’s the bald guy from The Expendables Movie.)
How he got that number is a whole another story.
I’m a super qualified Pharmacist in my twenties. Pretty awesome huh? Well, I had to find a way to fund my geeky lifestyle so I thought why not.
I like to think of myself as a writer as it is one of my deepest passions. It’s the only true way I can express myself. I’m also an Otaku I believe considering my love for Anime and Manga. I would love to visit Japan one day and even Korea (the Southern one… definitely the South).
I would say I’m a bit of a technophile. I love my gadgets although I haven’t officially started collecting yet. I have a fondness for reading that goes beyond obsession. I’ve actually cut back now to starve the addiction. I’ve started to pass time watching fantasy based TV Shows considering I live with my head in the clouds. If it has magic, swords or dragons, I’ll watch it. Mix all three and you have LOTR and G.O.T, both on my favourites list.
I’m not much of a gamer but when I do play, its mostly RPG or some sort of adventure game that involves leveling up or has a fantastical story. Just got over my addiction to League of Legends mind you… Not even sure how that happened.
Apart from that, I like my football… a lot. Being an Arsenal F.C. fan and all, I know what football is all about.
Those who know me would tell you, my biggest passion in life is One Piece. I live for that stuff. So if I die before it ends, somebody visit my grave and read the latest chapter to me on a weekly basis or I’ll haunt everyone.
And finally, I’m the Captain of this crew of weirdly awesome individuals and my role will be to post out awesome content and keep these bunch under control. Wish me luck.
